I would say the average console gamer isnt really "hardcore" either.
A hardcore gamer is someone who keeps up on gaming news, spends alot of time/money on gaming as its one of their favorite hobbies.
Today's casual gamer is someone who doesnt keep up on gaming news, doesnt spend alot of time/money on games and moalty does as a time waster or when they are bored.
The average gamer falls somewhere in the middle.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
