By American standards, Harper was center right. Yes he was conservative but he's very far from Trump in his views and even then a lot of people liked to demonize him so I'm pretty sure Canadians would never vote for Trump.

I wouldn't be so quick on that call. Harper was probably the equivalent of Dubya.
