There is a big misconception in America where a lot of people think Canada is this liberal utopia and - in case of an annexation - all provinces would become blue states. Vast majority would probably be red. Let me remind you uber conservative Harper was PM for 10 years.

There is a good chance the US is getting the fuck out of NATO, which would pretty much spell the end of NATO. I think the only way we stay there is if countries start paying the US directly, or if the 23 countries - Canada included - who are not putting in what they are supposed to put in start paying their fare share.
