It wasn't an article, but someone who manages Best Buy and has access to numbers within a 400 mile radius. He frequently offers his assessments and observations in stores. Not to mention, if we look at the amount of JRPGs on the XB1 and the PS4, it's completely one-sided. Other than Type-0, the XB1 has Stranger of the Sword City. Meanwhile, the PS4 received Odin Sphere, SAO: Hollow Realization, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, etc. While many of those JRPGs aren't big, they at least help maintain interest of the JRPG fanbase that own a PS4. |
Persona is a fairly big game that won't come for the Xbox. People who will purchase Final Fantasy on the Xbox One, are the ones that play shooters or other western games as their main genre. The dedicated fanbase for Final Fantasy is nearly non-existent on the Xbox One and, because of that, more Deluxe editions are being sold for the PS4 than normal editions for the Xbox One. Why would a non-dedicated person purchase the Deluxe edition ?
