A PC gamer doesn't buy a FPS on consoles when the same game exists on PC, for obvious reasons. Maybe if keyboard/mouse support was something natural more people would consider it.

Playing an FPS with a control pad is like playing violin with oven mitts :/

A pc gamer will play games like this on console if he wants active servers for years to come instead of servers that will be dead pretty rapidly after release.  

 

If said gamer wants it enough he'll learn to play a shooter with a controller.  the fact you won't even consider it is putting me off ever wanting to game with a mouse and keyboard.  the last thing i want is for me to think controllers suck and I'll never want to play a shooter on console again.  considering that's where the playerbase is that would be a really shit situation.
