Fable was a decent game that had some fun parts. Really though, it's not all that special.

Like what?

The most enjoyable part for me was my first trip to the Grey House area. It was very spooky (the music helped).

The game soon killed that enjoyably spooky atmosphere by subsequently reminding me in later trips that my sword could answer pretty much anything that crawled out of the ground though...

I just liked killing people, really. That and screwing around a whole bunch. I remember having a good time in the swamp area, too. I can't remember the name. Whoring it up and gambling in town was kinda amusing, too.

I'm a sucker for running around and doing whatever the hell I want. If the gameplay is decent, I'll enjoy the game on some level.

And that's pretty much what Fable provided me. Nothing memorable at all, but enough there to get me to buy the sequel.
