With BlizzCon wrapped up for another year, it's now time to look forward to what was promised over the course of the two day event. We already know Diablo 3 will welcome its take on the Necromancer class next year—and that the original game is being remade within the third, to mark the former's 20th anniversary—however two new features are also en route to Sanctuary in the new year: the Armory and Challenge Rifts.

We heard about the new Overwatch Arcade earlier today during the BlizzCon 2016 opening ceremony, but nothing about how it actually works. Consider that oversight cleared up: Game director Jeff Kaplan took to the stage at the "Overwatch: What's New" panel to reveal that it will be a new option on the Play Menu providing gamers with a number of different ways to do battle, and earn rewards for doing so.

HEARTHSTONE’S NEXT CARD SET IS THE MEAN STREETS OF GADGETZAN
http://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstones-next-card-set-is-the-mean-streets-of-gadgetzan/
The next card expansion for Hearthstone will deal with the troubling subject of goblin on goblin violence. As predicted, the RNG-loving card game is heading to the Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. The big hook for this set is the creation of three crime families, the Grimy Goons, the Jade Lotus, and the Kabal. As I understand it, each family will be associated with three of the existing Hero classes. So for instance, the Kabal combines Mage, Priest and Warlock. In gameplay terms, this means the creation of ‘Tri-Class cards’, which will only be useable by those Heroes. It’s an interesting idea, which should add another welcome layer of complexity to deck-building.

Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm MOBA will soon add a pair of new heroes to its lineup, each one a distinct departure from anything we've seen previously: The Warcraft hero Varian Wrynn, and the mighty World of Warcraft raid boss Ragnaros the Firelord.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT IS GETTING PVP BRAWLS IN THE 7.2 UPDATE
http://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-is-getting-pvp-brawls-in-the-72-update/
Blizzard is giving World of Warcraft players a new way to beat each other senseless with the introduction of PvP Brawls. Coming in patch 7.2, WoW's brawls are "very much inspired by" brawls in other Blizzard games like Hearthstone and Overwatch, game director Ion Hazzikostas explained during the World of Warcraft: Legion panel at BlizzCon, and they promise to bring some very interesting changes to the game.

WOW: LEGION PATCH 7.2 WILL ADD NEW RAID, MORE STORY, AND SEXY NEW MOUNTS

Just because patch 7.1 is only a few weeks old doesn't mean that Blizzard doesn't have a ton of things to talk about with regards to Legion's future. During a presentation at Blizzcon, game director Ion Hazzikostas took the stage to spell out what's coming in patch 7.1.5, as well as spill all the nitty-gritty details of patch 7.2, which includes a Hearthstone-esque Brawl mode, a new raid, and class-specific mounts that are sure to have players crawling over one another to ride.

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: LEGION WILL TAKE PLAYERS TO A WHOLE OTHER PLANET
http://www.pcgamer.com/world-of-warcraft-legion-will-take-players-to-a-whole-other-planet/
If you thought the Broken Isles was going to be the epicenter of the fight against the Burning Legion in World of Warcraft's latest expansion pack, you might be wrong. At Blizzcon, game director Ion Hazzikostas took to the stage to answer the question of "what's next?" for the expansion. For the most part, that answer was new dungeons, raids, and features, but at the end of the presentation Hazzikostas dropped a rather large lore-bomb on the audience.

WOW: LEGION'S FIRST MINI-PATCH MAKES OLD DUNGEONS NEW AGAIN AND ADDS A FIGHT CLUB

Legion, World of Warcraft's latest expansion, has almost been out for three months and Blizzard wants to make it pretty obvious there's plenty more to come. Patch 7.1 released only two weeks ago, but Game Director Ion Hazzikostas took to the stage at Blizzcon to detail what players can expect in the upcoming smaller patch 7.1.5 and to talk about Blizzard's overall philosophy with patches for Legion. Hazzikostas didn't set a date for the patch, but it will arrive on the beta servers next week, so players can most likely expect it to go live within a month or so.
