Doesn't the primary account only mean that that's the system dowloads will go to when you buy them online, and other people can play your content without needing your ps account? You can still download anything manually to a secondary system and play on it with your account. Since I never use the automatic downloads from web purchases I'll keep my current ps4 the primary for the kids to play on with their own ps accounts.
Or do you already have that option with your 2 ps3's which is now no longer possible?
I had 2 ps3's as well before ylod and it didn't work for me. For example if I played GT5 prologue (digital version) on my ps3 upstairs, I could not play it on the one downstairs for a whole 24 hours until it unlocked again. It depended on the game though what was possible.
Hmm the only snag is that remote play connects to your primary ps4, so if I let my kids play on the old one, I can't remote connect to the new one?
http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/activation.html Activate your PS4™ system as your primary system, using your Sony Entertainment Network account. Activating your system enables these features:
- Anyone who uses your primary PS4™ system can use applications you purchase from PlayStation®Store.
- Anyone who uses your primary PS4™ system can enjoy the benefits of your PlayStation®Plus subscription.
- Your PS4™ system can automatically download content you pre-ordered, or content you've purchased on
(PlayStation®App).
- You can connect to your PS4™ system via the Internet using Remote Play on another device.
- Anyone who uses your primary PS4™ system can use the themes that you purchase from PlayStation®Store.
Although it doesn't say primary for remote play. Guess I'll find out on Thursday.

As long I can can play the way I do now. That's all I care about. I was planning on keeping all the stuff I have on my current PS4, and building anew library with the Pro. I'll sacrifice remote play on whichever isn't primary without any kicking/screaming.

You can have any one single profile installed on as many PS devices as you want. On PS4, you have to enable the console as your "primary" console at your discretion - what that means is that you can play your games online or offline or on a different account, but only on that primary ps4. Any other ps4 you want to play the same account with, must be signed in online. So, you can have the same account on two PS4s. On your primary ps4, you can access that account in offline mode and play anything without Having to sign in to PSN. On any other ps4 that your account is installed on, you must be signed in online to play your games.
Edit - so for your situation, set your ps4pro as primary so that you can access everything online or offline, and so that all of that content can be accessed by other accounts on the primary ps4pro, and then keep your account installed on the other ps4 and just make sure you have the Og plugged into the Internet when you want to use it. I realize this might sound a little confusing
