Even further downsampled in my browser on 15" 1080p laptop the pro pictures look a lot sharper (756x424)
Downsampling works. Nothing unexpected, works for blu-ray movies too.
Is it worth $400, maybe not. I expect the impact on psvr to be a lot bigger, coming from a lower resolution and viewed up close. Of course in other titles it might improve frame rate stability. (Seems Titanfall 2 is locked to 60fps already on ps4, lowering to 720p instead of dropping frames)
