Which is sad because I had a relative in the US who was 24.
She had no coverage even under her parents.
She had health issues but she carried on as going to the doctor would be an issue.
She ended up fainting one day and had a heart attack and died and she seemed healthy ( she had issues with a weak heart that could have been corrected by medicine).
The thing is here in Canada people even who are healthy go to the doctor for such issues as they do not have to worry about paying 100's of dollars of bills.
