That's a literal fuck you to everyone that is out buying a PS4 right now. Keeping their press footage only to 4k enhancements keeps their messaging focused. PS4pro is for 4k gaming. PS4 is still great for 1080p.

So Sony knows the PS4 Pro is kind of a fuck you to those who bought or are about to buy an original PS4, but if those people only realize after the launch of the Pro, then it's okay? That's kind of shady.

It isnt. Better tech is better tech, and it has been 3yrs anyway.

But to be leading a marketing campaign saying g look how much better even 1080p games will be is like saying fuck you even tho it didn't cauee the PS4 is $100 cheaper. 

It just makes more sense to market the things that makes the consoles different.
