Yes on patches to improve visual quality (better textures, lighting, etc). 

When it comes to mantaining a smooth framerate I would be shocked if the pro had any sort of dips. The reason fps drops for the most part is when either the cpu or gpu are rendering more than they can chew. If the game targets 60 fps and drops to 30/20 because the apu can't render all the frames, double the apu performance and these frame drops shouldn't happen anymore. Even the Xbox 1 S had marginal fps gains over the vanilla system with a nearly identical apu
