I think its relative. I guess i care more about the game as a whole rather than the graphics. I care more about FPS and loading times actually.
But, i also like the way consoles work. I am not interested in the idea of upgrading a console every 2 years because that is the same thing i dislike having to do on the PC. I like the garantee a console is supposed to give me that it will run the best games for the next 5 or so years.
So, do i care about power? To a degree, yes. But not for better graphics, but gameplay reasons. Not willing to buy a new system every 2 years for it though.
