I can point you to some games with amazing graphics but are not very good games. Similarly, RE4 is a better game than RE5 despite the improvement in graphics. The PS2 Ratchet & Clank games are collectively regarded more highly than the PS3 ones despite the upgrade in graphics.
Also, for those who think graphical power translates to sales... No. Do I even need to recite the numerous historical examples where the weaker hardware sold better? I'm pretty sure everyone here knows by now.
