And the idea that if I disconnect it, it'd crash the game, even though I'd never do that, bugs me a bit. I want the system to have everything in a single box if possible.

But that's one of the things they certainly should enable. I also think they should let us store media files on the PS4, like with PS3.

I've run into that issue playing certain games on Xbox One. Especially Telltale games. They run like shit on an external HDD. I just go to the options menu, without even quitting the game, and select "Transfer to internal memory" and it goes off without a hitch.

 

I do admit that having everything in one package is much more sexy. With the other devices, you often don't have that option. Still, I'd like to be able to choose one or the other. Both have their benefits.
