So what was the super secret NX feature Nintendo didn't want anyone to copy?

I don't think this feature has been revealed yet because there is no feature that isn't available elsewhere. Nothing that captures the imagination. I think in the detail that comes later there will be a feature or 2 that makes the product more appealing.
