But the PSP was designed in 2004 where HD TV were still coming around and tube tvs still existed, sure if the PSP hooking up to the TV was using an HDMI i'd expect a bit more but it was just using the RGB wires. (quickly looking on Youtube some people have found ways to make it fit bigger/full on your TV).
As technology advances it gives the creators more features to impliment better ideas so its expected that the Switch should perform better in all aspects as a hybrid console compared to the PSP. That's just the basic evolution of technology but doesn't mean the PSP didn't perform well as a home console. What do you expect a hyrid console to be comparing one from 2004 and one in 2017?
