Syria used to be an amazing country. all of my relatives who went there before it went to trash said it was comparable to the middle income countries of europe.
Also, Syria is the key to many issues. refugees, migration, isis, etc. if we didn't pay attention to it things would go uglier than they already are

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.
