I think some ppl still misunderstand the criticism. Assuming NS is planning to get 3rd party support (FF7r, dark souls, bethesda rpg), how is NS gon handle AAA game digital download? Most games now require more than 30gb and the price of high capacity sd card is really expensive. For comparison, 128gb sd card cost roughly the same as 1tb hhd.

I guess i shouldnt expect those titles to come to NS

And this is what I completely don't understand. What about Nintendo's reveal made people think the Switch will be home to massive AAA third party titles seen on PS4/X1? Better yet, what about Switch made people think that it was ever Nintendo's focus to get Red Dead Redemption 2 and the like on their platform?

No hardcore Battlefield 1 fan is running to the Switch version which will performs between 480p-720p whilst looking like a PS3 game, never hitting 60Fps and most importantly excluding all of their friends who are on one of the established online ecosystems (PSN, Xbl). Even if developers did throw all their might at the Switch, most of their multiplatform games would flop into oblivion. Anyone who has the Switch as their sole current gen system is not massively interested in Red Dead Redemption 2, Mass Effect Andromeda etc and those who are belong to a tiny minority who are not going to make it a huge success on the platform, long term this means withdrawn support from those type of games.

I'm sure Nintendo is counting on third party support, and Third parties are looking to support Nintendo but it won't be in the way many people on here seem to be hoping. January's event could prove me wrong but from Western developers I'm betting on...

Last gen ports/remasters: GTA V, Skyrim, Biohock Collection

E for Everyone (generic audiences): Fifa, Need for Speed, Skylanders, Garden Warfare, Just Dance, Call of Duty, Titafall

Exclusives: New (quirky & small budget) IPs, Mobile ports/remakes , anything Nintendo wants to money hat.

I'll add the importance of third party support is disminished with a successful gimmick, it has always been dimished on Nintendo handhelds and is even further dimished when this gimmick means Nintendo have a more steady output.

See.. almost every single game that you listed takes more than 20gb hd. but then again i forgt that almost every single NS buyer will only buy physical copy or doesnt mind to dish out hundreds of dollars for SD card only /s
