Haven't had much to post in here...but my Jump updates were great this week, so I figured now was a good time to get back into my routine.
One Piece: *cries forever*
This chapter reminds me once again why this manga is in a league of its own. Sanji surely knows that Luffy won't leave, he was there when Nami and Robin did the exact same thing. When Luffy stood there and screamed, and Sanji failed to hold in his own tears...uh that hurt. Luffy loves his comrades that much, even to the point where he won't become Pirate King without them.
On a more negative note...I'm not really impressed with Nami this chapter. I like that she's willing to stand her ground...and I also like that we finally see the Sanji/Nami pairing in a more serious light...but it seems odd that she can't figure out exactly what Sanji is doing here...considering her own actions during the Arlong Park arc.
Hero Academia: *rolls around*
It's finally over...and as expected, Todoroki and Wind Dude failed. I like that this manga isn't afraid to teach some harsh lessons occasionally...both of their actions were pretty idiotic considering the theme of the exam.
Fairy Tail: *shipping intensifies*
Well...the fight between Natsu and Gray was stupid and forced as all hell...but at least it's over. I like the focus on Team Natsu, with the original trio sharing a tender (but pointlessly ecchi) hug.
Shipping moment afterwards was nice...at least for the ship I care about. The way Hiro draws Na/Lu really shows how much he cares about this pairing...and I love every bit of it.
Seven Deadly Sins: *shipping intensifies more*
Hauser the new Captain? NANI?
King and Diane get a random ecchi moment...but oh well. Easily the best 7DS pairing.
One Punch Man: *picks nose and wipes on Cloud discretely*
Had to look this one up because it updates so randomly. I'm curious how well Garou will last against Watchdogman...not that I can really predict how these fights will go that don't involve Saitama. Or why anything is happening right now.
I keep saying I'll be caught up soon on Shokugeki no Soma, but I really mean it this time. Just 10 chapters left...which means I'll add this to my next update here. I'll post my overall thoughts soon...but I'm really enjoying this manga overall. The food battles can get repetitive, and are mostly predictable, but the characters are a lot of fun, and it's genuinely enjoyable to see them interact.
