IP =/= game.

That project was in pre-production with 20 people while MS was making a deal with Epic.

It was Black Tusk choice to work on Gears instead of the other project they were planning.

Working on a new IP for a year and a half isn't a game?

I literally just quoted Black Tusk calling it a game jesus christ.

Look bro, that project didn't have a story, didn't have a direction and not even a name.

They used Unreal engine to demonstrate what they wanted to do. That "tech demo" you saw at E-3, was made by 20 total people at Black Tusk at the time.

They weren't even a AAA studio.
