Not too surprising. But the way people will use this as fact is the wrong way.
Religious people don't care about everything in the world as long as it doesn't harm anybody. They take it as it is and move on without questioning everything. Another study might suggest that religious people are more happy but no need to bash all non-religious people then.
Too extreme sides. I'm not religious at all, I'm even undenominational and was raised without anything related to it (more of the commercial way about Christmas and stuff). But I still understand what religions are about and respect how they shaped today's world, rights and no-nos. Most loud people don't, they think religion is all about the bible and that it is law to religious people. People who think religion is bad are as bad as those who think their religion is the only key. Just like some would hate video games for being evil and influential. But that's only the loud minority you know of every kind. Gamers who are loud on the internet are rarely in any way representative for the whole community and understand the world less ;)
