Japanese games will not sell on xbox even if MS get games like persona. The fanbase for those games is just not on the MS console, so devs won't waste their time on it. They won't see profit if they do it.

i think so too. and big and good jrpgs are important - for japan and west-gamer.

This isnt just about the japanese market though.
There are people across the world that enjoy japanese styled games.

When you give up japan, and trying to make those types of games, your also giveing up on those types.

Persona 5, World of Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy 7R, Ni No Kuni 2, Dragon Quest 11....

i see the january-february release in japan. kingdom hearts 2.5. , ni-oh, nier automata, valkyria chonicles azure revolution... all 4 coming for PS4 and Zero for xbox. so, the thing is clear..

We don't know if FF7 will launch for the Xbox One, but if Square Enix is waiting to see how well FFXV will sell on the PC, if the sales of Type-0 are any trend, it won't sell on the Xbox One.

By the numbers, atleast 1 million on Japan alone, and a lot worldwide. It only did under/over 3 millions on the UK. The gap in the USA is of 1.5 millions.

FF Type 0 is not the barometer of how well a FF game can do on Xbox or Playstation.

in 3 days coming world of final fantasy, but only for ps4(psvita). maybe, because the (bad) sales figures of ff type 0 on xbox ?! ps. what is with the new final fantasy 12 remaster next year?
