so wrong in many levels, not even the nvidia shield was capable of what the switch is doing, that's why the thing had a streaming service and not physical games. Because the technology was too expensive for the time. Now we have new architectures for graphic chips that allow better visuals on a tablet and less power consumption, as a matter of fact nvidia was going to use that for their new shield, but was cancelled because of the switch. Even the razer edge tablet was a similar product, a tablet with controllers and less power for a $1,000. Also, now is that cards with big storage are less expensive for mass production. So I would say that now is the right moment for the switch.
