They also have shown in Iwata Asks, former WiiU prototypes years ago and some of them basically were two controllers (WiiMotes) on a screen, I would say this product looks like a rip-off of Nintendos public made prototypes and patents. Which most likely is the main reason why no big distributer bothered with this product.

Yes, I'd seen that issue of Iwata Asks and the picture. Maybe it did went the way you say, who knows. It's, curious to say the least.
