The work I do isnt bad but everything else about the job is rather terrible.

I work night shifts so my sleep patterns are ruined, I have trouble getting much sleep on my weekends (if I get any that is) and have next to zero social life.

I am still employed as a casual so I get a little more pay but no sick days or vacation days, AND I rarely get any public holidays off.

The condition of the place I work is deteriorating fast, equipment isnt properly maintained and the conduct of safety is declining.

Many fellow coworkers continue to falter in their paperwork (and generally just dont think for themselves) meaning I need to constantly help them out while attending to my duties, and the workers that are fully competent are spiteful and pessimistic (and I am leaning towards that way too).

My current position isnt as manually demanding as it once was but it does come with a lot more responsibilities. Some days are fairly lax while most are full on and hectic, often one problem occurs (and will occur) changing my entire plan for the shift. Oh, and my pay remains the same despite working in a more important role.

Upper management is slowly but surely distancing themselves from the production floor leading to frequent problems and ignoring worker morale/suggestions. They are too busy counting the money they earned from work that isnt finished yet.

The good? Well the shift leaders are all nice people and very understanding. I someone makes a mistake they simply accept it and we all move on.

....... wow, writing this made me confirm that I need to change jobs. Thanks.
