Yes, but they need games from third parties in universal windows store for this and ofc more power. I doubt that the current surface model will be able to run xbox games

Neh, the beauty of PC gaming is that people have a wide range of games to choose from. Surface isn't limited to the windows store as far as games are concered and there are tons of games that aren't very demanding or will run at lower settings. Not saying that it is as fast as say x1 or anything but you would be surprised as to how many games can run at 720p resolution at low settings even with integrated video cards.
