You guys realize that LED/IPS/QDLED.....etc are ALL LCD based displays right?

it being an IPS based LCD display will mean that it can get really bright and will have great viewing angles which are great things if they plan on you using it outdoors. 

And IPS isn't the next best thing to Oled, QDLED is or at the very least local dimming LED is the next best thing to OLED. 

I can understand what or why Nintendo is doing what they are doing here, and I can't honestly think of a better way they could have done it. I'm just not sure if it was the best thing to actually do. 

Yes but its easier to explain ips is better than normal lcd than ips is better than tn and etc cause then I dont have to explain the meanings.
