The problem is, it gets confusing when you add letters to add letters or numbers to it
Nintendo Switch [NS]
Making it NS1 isn't good since unlike the the PS and Xbox, they are easily distinguishable.. PS1 = 1st console, since every console after it is PS2, PS3, PS4 etc. and with the Xbox, it's actually called the 1 so X1 makes sense too. NS1 isn't Nintendo's first console, and who knows if they make another console named the Switch as well? We don't call the GameCube GC1 etc. because there is only one GameCube even the SNES isn't the NES2
NSX just makes it confusing. People who didn't know that the codename was the NX wouldn't get it, Nintendo Switch X? We don't use the codename to name any of the other consoles, so why the Switch? But suit yourself for calling it the NST or NSW or the ABC if you want.. :/
