I am fine with this and what I wanted Nintendo to do. Unified library and ability to choose to play on my couch or on the go.

Its unified because they abandoned the home console market. I'm not a fan of it.

All about perspective I suppose.  If I can play it on my television with a traditional controller as has been shown that is a home console option to me.

After the Wii and Wii U were behind their competitors in terms of horsepower the idea of generations became blurred in regards to Nintendo.  The Switch looks to be a leap over the Wii U like the Wii was to the Gamecube. Marginal with a focus on new style of playing rather than being far more advanced.

Personally I'll take the Switch over have to buy a Wii U level handheld and a PS4 level home console from Nintendo.
