When the company most interessed and worried about the system put that the main functionality is tv output and charging without being explicity on enhacing the system I wouldn't be very confident that it is really that much more enhancement.

We do not know whether the dock has a cooling system or enables the Tablets internal fans that were reported, we don't know if the" scalable Gpu" runs at a high clockrates due to a constant power supply. It's unlikely that there is another Gpu hidden (and I never expected one) but to say the dock doesn't afford extra power is "confirmed" is a false statement. 

 

The same source that said the reveal is this week said there a $100 difference in 2 SKU's. There could be a standard dock and Premium dock and Nintendo's generic statement about the" Main Function" of the dock will still hold true. Lets just wait for actual confirmation of details before throwing the word "confirmed" around, that's all im saying ;)
