To me, the dock is going to be the supplemental computing device (104) while the Switch is the game console (102) as one of Nintendo's patent shows below. They may have said that the dock doesn't provide anything extra but for all we know the one on the trailer could just be the cheaper base model and the beefed up one could be their more premium deluxe model and more up to par in terms of horsepower to the competition. Just a thought since the patent itself shows that as a fairly reasonable possibility.
