The point is that the PS3 version was, by and large, available years ago on the original Xbox. It is often the case that original games get better scores than new games.
Imagine if someone compared a PS3 game to Zelda III release for the Virtual Console, and those people said, "hey, look, Zelda III on the VC got a better score than (for example) GTA 4! LOLOLOLOL"
Your response would be rightfully "so? That game is old -- the reviews are old."
