Will Ninty lose the war if Sony & M$ develop similar or better controller?

Because microsoft took such a firm stand on the wii motion controls...mocking them and all...the only way I could see them doing it this gen is as a joke.

Kinda like..."You wanted it...WELL YOU GOT IT! Here it is for your pleasure...in 1080p...Master Chief Fishing!"

I'd love to see that happen actually. :)
