I love my current job! I work as a network admin at my small-mid sized company and work with both the network and the servers.

The medical benefits are amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The pay is more than 25% increase over my previous job which has allowed me to afford a much nicer home in an ideal neighborhood. I am never too busy or too stressed out. I spend most of my time researching and learning which happens to be one of my favorite activities. I came into a network that was pretty haphazard and got it running smooth as butter. There used to be issues occurring every night, and now I can take a week off and no one would notice. I never go home stressed or aggravated anymore. I would like more pay, but then who wouldn't. All in all I have a great job that I love and am very happy in, and they are very happy with me.

My previous job was a level 1 helpdesk style support job that turned into second level and finally project based work. My last job was bad pay for what I did and they kept on adding more and more responsibilities but refused to pay more. The work atmosphere amongst colleagues was awesome but way too stressful. I used to be stressed for weeks at a time. Even though my job performance was leagues over everyone else's my boss would still find reason to complain. My performance was not just personal perception either, it was backed up by our SLAs which ranged from ticket closures to complaints and all the way to success of project completion on time. Probably the worst part about my last job was there was a total F-up there that should have been fired 10x over but still somehow had a job.Oh well.. enough ranting about what was. I left that place and for the better. I do really miss my old colleagues though, they were a lot of fun.
