A friend of mine in The Netherlands doesn't expect to get one until late November. It comes out the 22nd and it seems all of the stock is pre-ordered already. Perhaps Sony misjudged the distribution, or maybe he'll get lucky too. My local shop didn't expect to get any for a long time, then they had about a dozen available for launch. The bundle is sold out at BestBuy, standalone headset is still available online and nearby stores.
The ps4 pro coming in less than a month probably hurt initial sales. Both are targeted at the hardcore player, not everyone can afford both. psvr is a gamble, ps4 pro you know what to expect. Anyway perhaps now they can set up some demo stations in stores :)
