Does it matter, if people are going to pick apart microsoft statement for being the best selling console used in current setting, than you can just easily pick apart the other. It is like another user said, it is just marketing, they all do this. 

Not really, but it's just funny when MS uses the "we're number one somewhere" techniqe to advertise their product. Let's not pretend people wouldn't pounce if Sony were in MS's shoes and did this.
