The biggest games of the UK already launched, while the biggest Japanese games will still launch. One sold 430-450 thousands in 1 year as a best sellet, the other sold 500 thousands in 1 year (outside of the 2 biggest franchises of the UK) as the best seller. How is one  relevant and the other isn't ?

The biggest games in the UK also annual or see numerous releases in a single gen. That's also a reason UK sells more home console games than Japan.

MS and Sony are more concerned with western markets than a niche market like Japan. No need to argue about it, that's just the way it is.

In the UK, Fifa is very popular because they like football. And why  is a market that sells millions of units of software per year  a bad thing or niche for Microsoft and Sony ?

The gap between the Xbox One and PS4 in Japan is bigger than the gap between the UK and USA combined.  Do Microsoft don't want those sales ?

Microsoft spent 80+ millions on Fable to  shut it down. They spent probably the same on Quantum Break, but it did terrible worldwide. If they were more popular in other countries, they would be able to make games of more genres and become even more popular.
