Anyone here who has played Halo 2 on Legendary will know what I'm about to talk about which is either going to be Outskirts or Gravemind. The start of Gravemind can be pretty brutal, there are two Brutes that can instantly kill you right at the start and then you have to survive waves of enemies until the door to progress opens. But Outskirts is a personal childhood nightmare of mine, why? Well...
Jackal snipers. Everybody hates these guys and for good reason. Their aim is ridiculous, anywhere they shoot you is an instant kill and they come in pairs. There is also a checkpoint right in the middle of a "sniper alley" that can soft lock the game until you are reverted to the previous checkpoint.
So how do you beat this level? Well trial and error, memorize their spots and kill them before they kill you. Or you can cheat and jump out of the map too and honestly I won't blame you if you do.
