Yes. Regardless if its fake or not.
Since the beginning of developer fan interaction, there has been an increase in uppity, self entitled attitudes. I dont know where the idea that because your a "fan" you should or feel that you should be able to dictate the development of product not created by you, developed by you, owned by you came from, but reach back and your pretentious mind out of your ass.
90% of gamers dont have the ability to advance a series forward. If it was up to fans we would have -
Final Fantasy 7 - 9
Street Fighter 2 - 19th edition
Symphony of Night 13
Sonic Adventure 2 version 7
All fans can do is picked what they like out of already created installments and then thow it in a sequel.
