I don't even think it'll hit 1 million world wide, and if it does, then it will only just make it. The graphics look PHENOMINAL, absolutely crazily amazing, but all of the vids and screenshots are hand picked... i don't know how repetative the graphics and textures will become, and there is a SHITload of black. The cut scenes are something to be wow'ed upon as well. Unfortunately I think that the gameplay looks like CRAPBURGERS and I can't imagine myself playing past the first few levels... notice in most of the footage they only show VERY short gameplay grabs and mainly cutscenes? I'll continue to dislike Lair until it proves me differently and nothing has done that so far, it's pretty but that's all it's got. |
I agree with your "crapburgers" comment. That word pretty much sums up my thoughts on what I've seen of Lair. I even WANT to like it, since Factor 5 made some games I liked on the N64 and GC. Seems like they got "Rarewared" though and ran out of talent after working for Nintendo.
Edit: yeah I just watched a couple of the vids. I feel kinda bad for those who think Lair will boost PS3 sales significantly.
