There is no way any Japanese studio is going to send a game exclusively onto a machine selling double digits each week in Japan. It would just make zero sense, the xbox brand is dead there, Ms should just focus on the two markets which enjoy it rather than waste energy on a market which just doesn't want the system. I mean spend that time and money on advertising forza in Europe and shooters in the US and they'll bank more sales

.5pb would beg to differ with you. Though, after a certain amount of time later they realize the error of their ways and port their games to every PS system. lol

Anyway, it takes two to tango. There's a reason why Xbox has a stigma on it regarding Japanese games as many knowledgeable people know. You can get as many Japanese games you want, but if the consumer(worldwide, not just Japan) doesn't buy it then it's pointless(imo). Look at Square Enix(JP). They started off the next generation announcing Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Hearts III(Note: Tetsuya Nomura wanted the HD collections on one console before KH3, hence 1.5 only on PS3 and later 2.5 so you see someone went over his head with KH3.) in 2013 before the next gen consoles released. I'm not going to go into the behind the scenes stuff like what Wada did or not, etc. SE had some hope for the Xbox One. After those consoles released, they announced Type-0 HD in 2014. Yes, Type-0 HD did poorly on Xbox One. SE had already planned the next direction they were going with their Japanese games somewhere around the end of 2014-early 2015 since Shinji Hashimoto(and others like Tetsuya Nomura) went on record in early 2015 and E3 2015 stating that SE wants to help sell PS4's and give gamers a reason to buy, which is why we saw many Japanese PS4 games being announced and none for Xbox One. You have the Final Fantasy HD collections, Kingdom Hearts 2.8(which has no previous PS games in it and is part of Nomura's plan), Nier Automata(the 1st game was on 360) being announced only for PS4 worldwide. Heck, SE are releasing their games for PC instead of Xbox One if they ever decide to port a game. The answer is in your face even if you're in denial. Phil and many other Xbox only gamers(not saying Phil only plays on Xbox) can only be excited for FF XV in the remaining months of the year because options are very limited as usual with this brand. I'm not even sad to say this because its the truth.
