Thats what I had to do in the end, even after that though it still wasnt finished. I think I do have a broadband speed problem but cant fix right now. It infuriating as i get the game ready for an all nighter and it refuses to let me play.
its annoying that the 2 games where its been the biggest issue are both major Microsoft realeses. I got Deus Ex and Mirrors Edge recently, neither of them gave me this issue.
