Basically for anyone who doesn't know 6 of the 32 counties in ireland are controlled by Britain and roughly 50% of the population in the 6 counties are protestant and loyalist as opposed to Catholic and republican in most of Ireland. It's a result of many hundreds of years of England invasions, genocides and plantations. I know, surprise, surprise.
the IRA was a product of all this and represented the rebels on the republican side. The protestant equivalent was the uvf. I find this call for a ban a bit rich. We play games that involve Vietnam, the war in the middle east, WW2 and WW1. It's just a game at the end of the day and just like films involving thr IRA aren't banned, I don't think a game should be either.
