Unless you're absolutely strapped for cash, OP, I would definitely go with the Pro. Even if you don't have a 4ktv, most every game from this holiday onward will be using the pro's extra power in some way, so you'll likely get supersampled images and sturdier framerates at the very least. Some games, like ROTR and Paragon, are even going to feature extra effects and such.
I would wait until the ads for Black Friday come out, however, it's likely that the ps4 slim will be cheaper that weekend, and maybe December as well.
