I'm well aware of American politics, not an expert but probably above the average there by looking the levels of deep political ignorance the average usa citizien have (not something exclusive to usa tbh), and I do care about it cause, unfortunately, what happens there ends up affecting us someway or another.
Living there may give you a better perspective somehow but it doesn't make you automatically more right, 320m live there and they have very different opinions about what is right for the country, including very stupid ones.
