Oh yeah, now that you mention it, it's often like that in sports as well.

But one bizarre thing I've seen in politics is one side accusing the other of lying.
As if not every politician lies.

No one gets to the level of a Clinton, Bush, Kennedy, or Trump by being virtuous and honest.  They got where they are by selling their souls to powerful interests and stepping on other people.
