| Kerotan said: Of course it doesn't sound as positive. That's why the articles regarding xbox last week and Playstation this week use these percentages. Makes the sales sound way better. Here's an example from ethomaz on gaf.
"Let's try guess the numbers again...
So over 3 weeks ps4 will have sold more but the pr makes it sound like xbox did better. Not in reply to you but I must repost this gif from gaf. Just too funny!!

This math is off.
It was said this week (3rd week) overall PS4 sales were 55% higher than XB1. So let's start with that. Remember these numbers used here do not matter at all, it's all about the relative difference. For this case I will use 10k for XB1 3rd week and work backwards.
3rd week
XB1 10000 (16% drop from 2nd week)
PS4 15500 (55% higher than XB1) (380% up from 2nd week)
2nd week
XB1 11905 (989% up from 1st week)
PS4 3229 (22% up from 1st week)
1st week
XB1 1093
PS4 2647
So at 1st week PS4 was selling approximately 142% more than XB1. Now let's use that information and use 2k for XB1 1st week sales.
1st week
XB1 = 2000
PS4 = 4840 (142% more than XB1)
2nd week
XB1 = 21780 (989% up from 1st week)
PS4 = 5905 (22% up from 1st week)
3rd week
XB1 = 18295 (16% drop from 2nd week)
PS4 = 28344 (380% up from 2nd week)
In the end when you count all 3 weeks together, the XB1 sold roughly 7,6% more than PS4.
I don't know how the original was calculated but it is clear it does not hold up.
XB1 17k vs PS4 27k is approximately 59% difference when it should be 55%.
XB1 2k to 20k is 900% bump when it should be 989%.
PS4 7k to 27k is approximately 286% when it should be 380%.
PS4 6k to 7k is 16,6...% when it should be 16%.
When you add all that bullshit together the truth twists.
I cannot imagine toilet-free life.
Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
