Multiplayer is the most balanced and smooth Gears we've had, I'm having a blast! Coalition managed to make it accessible for newcomers by balancing the pacing and weapons. Epic tried to add "noob" weapons that only ended up being abused by skilled players.
Matchmaking has some issues, core modes take a while to load and teams are often uneven. Just played 3 vs 5 king of the hill match..good that there's no bots though. Those belong in social playlist
