Uncharted director criticizes triple-a development, says it can 'destroy people'

An "arms race" is the perfect way to put it. So many of these games are overproduced and overblown, and, with often unrealistic sales expectations, have so little margin for error. Everyone wants the next Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto and is willing to mortgage the future -- and employee wellbeing, apparently -- to secure it.
